We are thinking of trying to make Blesséd more like a community
That's a great idea! I would like to make Blesséd my principle way of engaging with my fath
OK, I belong to another faith community or church, but it would be cool to hang out every so often with Blesséd
Stupid Idea - just put on the shows and the doughnuts and otherwise leave us alone. Stop trying to become something you are not.

Blesséd - New Ecclesial Community

Although Blesséd has a home - St Thomas the Apostle, Elson in Gosport, it should not be seen as a product of that church. Indeed, we don't really want to think of Blesséd as owned by any Church. It has always been a little too unruly, a little too unconventional and a little bit too subversive to actually belong to anything other than the Body of Christ.

What we would like to create therefore is a sense of Community, a sense of ownership and involvement, a sense of participation in the creative process of worship, liturgy, and simply being which transcends all our traditional boundaries of parish, denomination and someone else's definition of inclusivity, exclusivity and the norm.

To that extent, we don't really know what this community will look like. There is no agenda, no rule book, no exclusive membership requirement: if you want to hang out with us and share in a journey of creative exploration and worship, then fill in the registration form, and it might just turn into something.
